Swell Bottle Review

Ever since last summer I've heard people raving about swell bottles. When I got one for my birthday this past year, I was still skeptical because I didn't really think I would use a water bottle regularly. I rarely took a bottle of water out of the house with me and if I did I would just grab a Poland Spring bottle. However, i love it! I never actually realized how useful a good water bottle can be. For the past few summers, I've worked at a beach club and during the day I would constantly be refilling a regular plastic water bottle time and time again because it gets really hot working outside, but now I only have to fill it up two or three times a day depending on the temperature. Also its great to bring to the beach because, unlike a plastic water bottle, there is no condensation, so you have cold water without getting the outside covered in sand.

Another thing thats great about a Swell bottle are the colors and patterns they come in. I lot of stores near me will actually monogram it for you, and of course I couldn't resist this. The one I have is about 25 oz. and is light blue with a white monogram. While this size is great if you spend a lot of time outdoors, it is a little big to keep in a bag so if you are planning to bring it to school or work I would recommend the 17 oz.
If you are looking to buy one you can go to the Swell website or a lot of other stores are carrying them now, including small stores in my town, so the prices may different depending on the store. On the official website, first select a color or pattern and then the size, which determines the price. Currently, a 9 oz. bottle is twenty five dollars, a 17 oz. is thirty five, and the 25 oz. is forty five.
