Welcome to A Little Northern Prep! I've been reading both fashion and personal blogs for year and I was inspired to finally write my own. I started reading blogs years ago and it all began with The College Prepster and soon I began to follow more fashion and preppy blogs and bloggers including Gal meets Glam, Southern Prep, Southern Curls and Pearls, Sarah Vickers, KJP....... anyway, I was hooked! I love fashion and if you couldn't tell already I'm into anything preppy: Lilly, vineyard vines, jack rogers, bean boots, J. Crew, Ralph Lauren, you get the idea.
After I decided I would write my blog the next question became what to blog about.As you will learn, I HATE making decisions, but this one was easy. I love both personal and fashion blogs so why not write about both.
Anyway, a little about me....
I have a name that is not very common and for some reason people find extremely hard to pronounce if they are seeing it for the first time. In my freshman year of high school after pretty much every teacher said my name wrong, my friends started calling me kay. For my blog I decided to use that just because its a little easier.
A few other things about me are that I love traveling (especially skiing), horseback riding, and of course shopping! I love my family and I really close with them especially my sister. I also gave a golden retriever puppy who is very spoiled!
I'm starting with the website and a Pinterest account for now, but hopefully I will have an Instagram within a few months so keep an eye out for that. But in the meantime I will be posting plenty on here!
